Once upon a time there were two children who fell in love. Seeing how they played together every day, picking cherry blossoms and wandering through the forest, both their parents agreed to betroth the two youngsters to each other.
Yet, before they had reached the age of fourteen, the age of marriage in their province, the parents of the girl died. Her aunt sold her into a brothel at the age of thirteen and the two young lovers were separated.
